Something new.
So I have completely scrapped my old idea. It will take toooo long for me to produce, and will not be completed at the end of the quarter. So I decided on something very simple.
This image is some characters I quickly knocked out. My new simpler idea is to have a character modeled after myself doing a scene in a movie. In the scene his only line is to say "I say you he dead!" but the director wants to try a whole bunch of random things with it! So the clapper board is going to be the mark of a new scene/new gag, in which this character will be himself, in a bunny suit, in anime style, or a skeleton, or whatever random thing that will be totally unexpected.

Story idea (finally).
I've finally settled on an idea. It is going to be something short. It is a small tale of how a cheetah got the streak under his eyes, and a horn on his head.
Scene 1: Looking up through tall grass we see a tree. From our surroundings we can deduce it is in the plains. A cheetah's head pops up and looks around.
Scene 2: The cheetah notices some impalas in the distance.
Scene 3: The cheetah creeps up a little bit.
Scene 4: The cheetah is in the distance moving forward slowly. The impala's head comes up in the foreground after picking up some grass to chew on.
Scene 5: The cheetah starts to run.
Scene 6: The impala notices and as a smart tactic runs towards the cheetah a bit, forcing the cheetah to make a sharp turn, and slowing him down.
Scene: 7: Pan with the two as they run along the planes. The cheetah gains on the impala.
Scene 8: From the cheetah's view the impala is close enough for the final pounce, but at the last second the impala dives off to the side, revealing a tree in front of the cheetah.
Scene 9: The cheetah tries to slow down, but can't stop or turn.
Scene 10: Looking down on the scene there is nothing but dust in the air. Dissolve to evening.
Scene 11: The cheetah opens his eyes. We can see now the dark red streaks under his eyes that weren't there before, and a small lump on his head.
Scene 12: He gets up and walks off. Dissolve to next scene following his movement
Scene 13: A small group of cheetahs (3 most likely) come into view. They all have horns and eye streaks.
Nothing to complex here, just something seemingly fun. I might be omitting scene 3 for the sake of time, and blending a couple together.

Movie dump
Uploading the last of my projects here.
This walk cycle turned out looking funky. I still have a bunch to learn about flash! T_T
Some roto-scoping tests using muybridge photos.
And finally this is my first try at lip syncing animation to audio.

The weird things.
So I been working on making these guys jump, and on my second animation, I ran into this funky problem with the motion tween, so right now it looks like a step animation.
and the weird one...
